Post by kingrasta » Fri Mar 23, 2018 12:08 am

Hey guys,

I have some yellowing forming on my bottom leaves and it looks like I’m seeing it spread. Can someone help me out and let me know if you know what this is and what to do to fix it.. thanks

Looks like calcium for sure. What medium are you using and do you ph your water and check runoff? I am a Hydro grower but I can try to help you out.

I just use some cheap water retention soil that I found at Walmart and yes I recently started to pH my water about a week ago at 6.0 and haven’t seen it get better or worse. Top leaves seem to be looking fine but I don’t want it to spread.

Id say check it tonite and go frm there. Most proplems are ph proplems. Also the plant up takes nutes at different ph levels. But definitely check that and we go frm their peace homie

OK, just watered with 6.4 pH and checked my run off pH and it was 5.4. Could this be the reason for yellowing?

This isn't the best of charts but its really close in the ball park! With your PH being so low your plant can't properly uptake calcium. Get you about 3-5 gallons of water PH'd to 6.2ish and flush out all the low PH'd liquids. After doing this you should see improvements within a day or 2.
